How to use your busy schedule to grow
Getting busy quickly becomes a game of priorities... We decide what must go, and what must be put first. Then next, and so on... And for most busy leaders, personal growth is the first thing to fall off their list of priorities when the pressure is on.

In the traditional paradigms of personal growth, this would actually make sense.
Because in old paradigms of growth work, getting to the next level in our inner landscape entails “stepping aside” from our busy lives…
Rendering the busy periods “not the right time.”
We either think, “There’s too much to do, and I just need to do it.”
Or, “Everything is fine right now anyway. I’m ‘comfortable.’”
But here’s the thing:
Separating your personal growth from running your business, leading your team, or having an otherwise fulfilling life adds time-sucks to your day-to-day.
I mean this quite literally. The cause of what drains your time and energy isn’t only dissolved with inner work – it’s also amplified without it!
Here are three key reasons why:
1. Your external reality is molded from your internal reality.
When you negate or distract from this knowing, there are many more balls to juggle and 70% more friction than you actually need.
Your internal reality is constantly offering you feedback in the form of how your external reality manifests and occurs to you.
Deprioritizing your inner work – especially the alchemical inner work that can happen while you’re working – increases the number of fires you have to put out…
It adds more literal, real-world pressure to your plate…
And reduces the peace and ease you feel with handling life, slowing down your productivity, and reducing trust in your team or clients.
2. The more in-tune you are with the most subtle layers of self-awareness, the more efficient your productivity and leadership.
Without subtle layers of self-awareness pointing the way, your professional and personal relationships suffer… as do key projects and timelines.
Your decision-making is poorly affected.
Even if you’re highly productive, your focus on the creative tasks that move the needle the most is diminished or fuzzy.
And you’ll perceive things through the illusion of protection mechanisms – causing more friction with people and projects.
If you are, both will guide you into a better present.
Blocking out the past or focusing on mindset as the primary tool causes your past to recur in your lived experiences (until alchemized).
This plays Groundhog Day on your time – sucking it up, instead of affording you the freedom to experience your own expansion.
And not trusting yourself to work with the future causes your present moment to stagnate, further affecting the Groundhog Day experience of what continues to eat away at your time and energy.
This is why patterns repeat.
That manipulative colleague? That team member who doesn’t listen?
They’re all records of your past.
And that fear of uncertainty? Or “not enough” in your money flow?
They’re symptoms of an unstable relationship with the future.
By learning how to harness the past to dissolve what no longer serves, and harness the future to align the present, you can get more done here and now.
Once you understand this, you’ll see that there are ways to grow in the day-to-day of running a business that get back precious time – without needing to step aside from what matters the most.
In the words of my student Kiara…
“This work transformed my relationship with time as a leader. I can turn 5 minutes into 5 hours of quality work. I’m no longer the victim of urgency.”
You’ll be ready and able to stand in a co-creative relationship with your time and energy…
Both of which are malleable for your expansion and the lightness you feel as you live out the bigger contribution that calls you.
No matter how much you have on your plate you won’t feel busy.
And you’ll free up time blocks you didn’t even know you had.
This will enable your personal growth to become automated, so that your transformation occurs on a subconscious, automatic level.
You’ll be able to remedy all barriers in relationships, money flow, productivity of you or your team, and so much more…
Without having to step away from all that’s important to you in your life and business.
